Kataysk Pump Plant, JSC has bee manufacturing pumps for transfer of clean water, condensate, petroleum products, distillation of pure water, liquefied gases, sewage, sea and fresh water, chemically active and neutral liquids, for domestic water supply, as well as spare parts for them for about 75 years.

The Company was founded in 1941 and now it is a leading manufacturer of centrifugal horizontal pumps for chemical and petrochemical industry, metallurgy, fuel and power complex, nuclear industry, pulp and paper industry, housing and utility services, agriculture, and land reclamation.

In 1965, the plant entered the global market and exported pumps for oil refining industry in Bulgaria, to nuclear power plants in Hungary and the Czech Republic.

The plant continuously participates in world and Russian exhibitions, has a wide dealer network. The high quality of products manufactured by Kataysk Pump Plant, JSC is confirmed by diplomas and world exhibition medals. In 1994, the plant was awarded with the 8th European Quality Award. In the same year, the company was admitted to the Global Trade Leaders Club. In 1995, the plant was officially awarded as “Leader of the Russian Economy”. In the same year, the plant was awarded with International Gold Star Award for Quality in Madrid. The plant participates in the competition of “100 best goods of Russia” and was awarded with diplomas in the competition of “100 best goods of Russia” for electric pump units with the brand name of Kataysk Pump Plant, JSC in 1995, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011. KPP, JSC was awarded with a gold medal for the best development and implementation of power-efficient pumps of LM type in 2006, and in 2011 for participation in the Housing and Utilities Infrastructure Exhibition in Yekaterinburg. Director General of the plant was awarded “For Quality Achievements”. KPP, JSC has good manufacturing capabilities provided with state-of-art equipment and highly qualified production and technical personnel. The technical level of products corresponds to the best world standards. Advanced technology, original design solutions, a strict system of industrial and technical control, and state-of-art testing methods ensure the high quality and reliable operation of pumps. For this purpose, the manufacturing processes are improved: — hard facing of bore protectors by sputtering technique, manufacturing of components by powder metallurgy process and cold heading.

In late 2007 and early 2008, Kataysk Pump Plant, JSC was licensed by the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia (Rostekhnadzor) for designing and manufacturing equipment of safety classes 2 and 3 for nuclear power plants.

Our enterprise also produces pumps for nuclear industry. These pumps are used for pumping different chemically active and neutral liquids in the NPP process system. Pumps manufactured by KNZ JSC have a high quality and long lifetime. This equipment was delivered to many countries and it is being used in Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (India), Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant (China), etc. Now we are making a deliver to Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (Bangladesh).

At present, along with scaled-up production of pumps specified in the range, the plant is able to implement production of new types not previously manufactured if consumers are interested in this.
